A lot of Grace Media brands look pretty similar, as you’d expect from a white label provider. Aside from the colour palette, Onyx Casino is virtually identical to Hot Streak Casino and 444 Casino, for instance. 

This isn’t really a bad thing, though. The minimalist design is easy to use, with intuitive navigation options and a classic online casino layout. Since the homepage doubles as the lobby, you’re thrown straight into the action.

I like that you can filter games by provider, though you might not realise at first, as the option is hidden behind the search bar. Clicking it opens a new page, with an icon that lists each development studio when toggled.

The Onyx Slots platform is hardly unique, but it’s highly effective. It’s really easy to navigate, extremely intuitive and games load quickly.

With almost 900 games to choose from, the Onyx Slots library isn’t as big as many other UK casinos. 

That said, there’s a wide enough variety that you won’t get bored. Plus, they’re taken from almost 50 of the industry’s top development studios.

Casino Lobby

The Onyx Slots lobby menu features a number of quicklinks. Most of these are standard, such as “Live Casino”, “Instant Win” or “New”.

However, I like the “Featured” tab, as it highlights a mixture of popular and less well-known titles. When preparing this review, Mustang Gold, Reactoonz and Starlight Princess 100, three successful Pragmatic Play titles, were among those featured.

But I was able to discover a few games that I wasn’t previously familiar with. 99 Time by Eyecon, for instance, is a simple but engaging ice cream-themed slot.

Summary

Like its Grace Media sister sites, this legal and licensed casino offers a robust selection of slots. 

There’s a broad range of betting limits, entertaining themes and the latest mechanics, so the casino’s relatively small size will go unnoticed. However, some may bemoan the lack of progressive jackpots.

That aside, I have almost exclusively positive things to say about Onyx Slots casino. If you want fast payments, flexible bonuses and a user-friendly platform, this is the place to be.
